Pure Canvas Primer Illuminating

The primer gives a nice dewy glow under tinted moisturizer! Love it!

This is my go-to radiant-boosting primer when I want that soft, lit-from-within glow without looking greasy or overdone. It has a lightweight, breathable texture that melts into my skin and layers beautifully under makeup. On camera, it gives me that subtle glow that makes editing a breeze less color grading, more natural radiance.

I reach for this a lot when I’m creating content because it just makes my skin look even, healthy, and glowy before I even get to foundation. It sits well under every base I’ve tried, never pills, never shifts, and actually makes my makeup wear better. Y favourite thing is that it plays nicely with other primers too, so I can mix and match depending on the look I’m going for.

It keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day, and the glow stays put, it doesn’t disappear or get oily as the day goes on. On light-makeup or no-makeup days, this is all I need for a dewy, effortless finish.

If you're looking for a primer that hydrates, smooths, and adds a soft-focus radiance, this is it. It doesn’t even compete with Makeup Forever’s HD Hydra Glow, it’s in a league of its own. It is on the pricier side, but worth every coin. I picked mine up at Sephora.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion). I am loving this primer. I have oily-combination skin with oily lids and it works well with my skin type. I use it on my face as well as my eyelids and it works for both. I like the whole illuminating, glowy, but natural look without looking like I have glitter on my face and this works perfectly. I like to use it as a base for my eyeshadows. It grips the powder eyeshadows so well and it doesn't give me a crease. I do get somewhat of a crease but not as bad as without it. My skin feels hydrated and not dry. It is a good primer.
