Eye Basics Primer

Buff
Edit

This unique, versatile cream primes eyelids to provide the perfect canvas for any eye look. Wear under powder eye shadow to create a uniform base, help prevent creasing, extend color wear and enhance the intensity of eye shadow on the lids. Or wear alone as a "foundation for lids" to camouflage imperfections for a flawless nude eye.

The longwearing, medium coverage primer formulation helps cover redness, veins and other discolorations. Infused with a luxurious blend of botanicals and other skin-friendly ingredients, this exquisite essential helps soothe and protect the delicate skin of your eyelids. Its creamy, lightweight texture offers ultimate flawlessness: it blends easily, is crease-resistant and won't slide off lids.

Two shades are special color correctors:
•Use Peach for brightening and lightening, and to correct the look of sallow skin.
•Use Eyebright to tone down purple and pink hues on the eyelids.

Formulation Details
•Non-comedogenic.
•Dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested.

Apply to the eyelid with Crème Eye Colour Brush, the wand applicator or clean fingertips. If applying as eye primer, choose a shade close to your skin tone.

Laura's Tip: Laura loves to mix the Eyebright shade with other hues to brighten the look of the eyelids. The opaque brightness of the light blue shade gives a healthy glow to the eyelids (and helps correct purple or pink tones, too).

Love the product, not the shade

I have been buying the Eye Basics Primer in Flax for YEARS and it's one of my all-time favorite products. The website indicated that the Flax shade was unavailable so I asked to be notified by email when it was in stock. I did receive that long-awaited email, but after I placed my order, I realized it was for "Buff" and not "Flax." I quickly tried to change my order, but wasn't able to. I am trying to like the Buff color, but it's just not for me. It's too pinkish. Hopefully Flax will be available soon and I'll place another order! I can't imagine putting on eye makeup without this primer. It is the best!

    Everyday Basic

This eye primer is my everyday basic and I’ve been using it for years. My only complaint is that my go-to color, linen, is always sold out. Please produce more linen: it seems to be a popular shade.

    Dry and hard to blend

This is dry and hard to blend. It mus be this color or the product is old? I have used this primer in Linen without any issues. But this color is a no and I am returning.
