With this particular powder, being undetectable on the skin is actually the intended effect. Unlike tinted or finishing powders that add visible coverage, a translucent setting powder is designed to blur pores and lock makeup in place without adding color or texture on top , so when it's working well, you shouldn't be able to "see" it at all. We know that can make the value feel less obvious in the moment, even though it's doing its job underneath!

I love how this item is just as effective as the loose powder version, but it’s now in a super convenient compact.
I've bought Laura Mercier pressed powders in the past and they were excellent. This product had virtually no powder in the container, does not apply and was expensive. Find something else; this product will not be it.
I love this powder! It blurs and blends beautifully!
The color once your skin gets oily appears very pasty and sticky. Then it deepens in color. I did medium dark ghastly.
I was hoping to live this but it was a little to light for my complexion and it was very drying.
This is my 2nd purchase of this item + it seems to really work for me for about 1/2 the day. Love the powder puff you get with it - makes life so much easier!
