Vanille Eau de Parfum

Laura Mercier Vanille Eau de Parfum has become the defining fragrance of my life. It is, without exaggeration, the most complimented scent I have ever worn. I have had people stop me at work, in doctors offices, and even while out shopping just to ask what perfume I am wearing. It has that rare, unmistakable warmth that feels comforting without ever becoming heavy, and it settles into the softest, most elegant vanilla that somehow smells both clean and decadent at the same time. Because of how universally loved it is, I have given it as a gift to many friends and family members, and every single one of them has fallen for it just as hard.

That is why the current situation has been so frustrating. The fragrance has been out of stock for months, and I have been checking the Laura Mercier website every single day hoping to see it return. I last ordered multiple bottles at the beginning of December, gave several away as gifts, and now I am down to the last of my own supply of what has become my signature scent. Customer support has been kind but unable to give any clarity. Each time I reach out, I am told to sign up for the notify me email which I have already done and then I am encouraged to try other products I have already said I am not interested in. When I contacted customer support on May 6, the representative did reassure me that Vanille is not being retired and will be restocked, but they also said there is absolutely no estimated restock date in sight.

I love this perfume sooooooooooo much it’s my absolute fav it’s soft and lingers all day please keep this forever!!!!

The packaging is small and cute, and the scent is soft and nice. However, it doesn’t last very long and fades quickly from the skin. For a perfume with such a short longevity, the price feels a bit high.
