Formulation Details
Oil-free. Non-comedogenic. Dermatologist-tested.

Using the Blending Brush, gently pick up product and tap off excess. Dust over face in a circular motion, working product into the skin for a healthy, even glow. Continue layering until desired coverage is achieved. For best results, use after your preferred Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.

For the most flawless, natural look, Laura says it's key to avoid over-applying foundation to the middle of the face—where too much formula can accentuate lines and other imperfections. With liquid, crème, or powder, she recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inward towards the nose. Focus on one area at a time and be sure to blend well. Avoid excess application around eyes or the contours of the face. Repeat application until desired coverage is achieved.

Remember, use Foundation to even out your skin tone. Use Concealer to camouflage imperfections.

I have been using L. Mercier Mineral Foundation for several years. I have several colors. My main color is Rich Vanilla. My other color is Classic Beige. I use the Classic Beige when I have a slight tan on my face. The Rich Vanilla blends well with my skin color. I am Asian and have freckles with some yellow in my skin. I have tried to use L. Mercier liquid foundation but never found the right color so I am sticking with the mineral powder. Please do not discontinue this product. Thanks.

Best Foundation EVER

This foundation surpasses all other mineral makeup - good for your skin (no silicones), fast application, leaves a completely skin-like finish, and lasts all day with zero caking or creasing!! I have tried them all and always return to LM's mineral powder. My only complaints are that there are too few shades with pink undertones and lighter shades are often sold out. Tender Rose is a bit dark and it's the lightest available

This is an amazing powder.

I recently ran out of my powder, and both Sephora and Nordstroms told me that this was discontinued. It would have been nice if that had told me that the STORE discontinued it. They both made it sound like you no longer were making the powder. I am so glad that I did some research online to find out that you are still selling it through Macy's. Nothing comes close!

Natural beige

Oh, I want to like this so much! But beside that I got the wrong shade (Natural Beige-it's too cool toned for me and the light in the store and the lady convinced me that it is the right for me. I wanted something with warm undertone, but the Rich vanilla, she told me, seemed too dark. And the Real sand apired white on my face.) I have acne prone skin and it was under control for a while, but every time when I put this powder on my face I get the painful acnes on my chin, where I usually have them, but also on my cheeks and the small pimples on my forhead, where I never had any problems before. Is it possible that shade Natural beige may cause the problem? Because Natural beige and Soft porcelain has different ingredients comparing to all other shades.

Love, love this product!!!!

Never disco this product! I have used it for years and am addicted...in a good way! Looks great, wears well and I think it is actually good for my skin. I use it lightly with the tinted moisturizer.

Great... but limited in colors.

This, for now, my go-to foundation powder. I love the finish and how I can layer it on for more coverage where needed. Still looks great on the skin 8 hours later! Especially fantastic if you prep the skin with your favorite face oils and moisturizer before application. Dreamy. What I don't like... is that I have to mix this with a yellow based Bobby Brown powder because the LM 'Real Sand' has too much red in it for my pale - very yellow- skin (aka: 5Y03 sephora). It's a shame!!! Doing so ruins the finish some, but better that than be red-faced. It's a compromise for now, until I find the perfect finish/color foundation powder. Please L.M., make what I need before I find the winning shade/formula elsewhere!!!

Best Powder Foundation ever!

Whenever I try and actually take my time with doing my make up, I tend to wear cream foundation, but when it's a laid back day I always go to this powder foundation. It has SO much coverage for just being powder. I used to fear trying it because I have so many acne scars and I was afraid it wouldn't cover them, but this foundation does. I was so amazed as to how flawless my faced looked at the end. It's also long lasting. I have yet to find a better mineral powder than this one, but I don't think I will ever switch to another.

Great products but .......

I love the mineral powder. I had been using medium beige for over a year and then decided that the colour was a little too light, the assistant suggested warm vanilla, big mistake!the colour was wrong, but difficult to tell with lighting in a department store. So I was disappointed that I had paid over £30 for a product which is now gathering dust! Yesterday, I decided to try classic beige but only if the assistant was willing to give me a sample to try at home in natural lighting. The shop assistant was so rude, saying that it "breached all health and safety procedures" and she could not give me a sample! I would understand if the product was cheap, but at over £30 a pot does Laura mercier really believe that customers are happy to take a chance on getting the correct colour.

Best Mineral Powder !!

Best powder i have ever used !!!!

I have extremely fair, Irish skin. Which is lighter--Tender Rose, or Soft Porcelain? (I don't have yellow undertones but the Soft Porcelain looks much lighter than the Tender Rose in the picture.)

I think that you should call customer service and ask them. I personally use the Tender Rose with my skin complexion and the color of my foundation. Good luck.

what shade good for me im asian but my skin medium incolor means not fair not dark in the middle thanjs

Maria, For your medium skin tone we recommend you try Mineral Powder Foundation shades Real Sand or Rich Vanilla. To better assist you with a shade match we recommend you give our Customer Service Team a call at 1888-637-2437 or visit a Laura Mercier counter near you. Our representatives will be happy to assist you.

I am French and Italian with tanish skin color (yellow orange) and I order Rich Vanilla. I think it is a very good match.

Would you please match a mineral loose powder with the bisque tinted moisturizer?

June, Mineral Powder shade Real Sand is the closest shade match to Tinted Moisturizer shade Bisque.

Can I use a primer under loose mineral foundation and if so which one is best to use?

I use the moisturizing primer - the key is to let it dry completely before applying the loose mineral foundation.

It the foundation powder being discontinued? Sephora nor NORDSTROM in store is carrying it

Janny Keopilavong

I think the only place we can order from is straight from LM . I can't find it anywhere and it's my all time favorite. So heartbreaking Sent from my iPhone

It's available on the Laura Mercier website as well as the Sephora website. Hope this helps!:)

I use the oil-free tinted moisturiser in nude- which shade is equivalent in the loose mineral powder? It would also be great if you could let me know if the mineral powder is suitable for an oily t-zone. Many thanks

Jess, Mineral Powder shade Real Sand is the closest shade match to Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer shade Nude. Because Mineral Powders are oil-free, non-comedogenic and dermatologist tested they are ideal for all skin types.

Does this mineral powder comes with SPF 15? I did not found it in the description.

Linda, Laura Mercier Mineral Powders do not contain sunscreen.

I use the bisque colored tinted moisturizer and I was wondering what color loose mineral powder would be the correct color for me? My skin tone is light to medium with a neutral undertone or possible warm undertone.

Marsha, Your Mineral Powder shade match is Real Sand.

I have classic beige. It's a little too dark for winter. What's the next lighter color?

It looks to me that 3N1 Natural Beige is the next lighter color to Classic Beige.
