This product has taken years off my looks while gicing a healthy subtle glow. I use two colors... One for winter and for spring summer a darker one while still putting the slightly lighter one on forehead. I first put a clear zinc oxide ( best for your fsce) 30 sunblock on and wait a couple of minutes for the whitish to turn less plastic. Then i put my laura Mercier over it. I live at beach and can be outside eoth no sundamage and have the subtle even glow of LM instead of plasticy sunblock. Public has stopped me often to comment on my skin. no kidding. Don't be turned off with price, use very little

I have used this product religiously for several years and agree with other reviewers that the packaging has been changed over the last couple of years. I refuse to buy this product anymore because it is a waste of money to have the product leak all over and become unusable. I don't mind spending money on products that work but cannot justify having half the tube wasted due to this issue. PLEASE FIX YOUR PACKAGING! I would like to be able to purchase this product again.

I like everything about this product except the ingredients. They are tricky and controversial. From sunscreen to parabens...and would love to see it reformulated with better ingredients list. I stopped purchasing because of the serious concerns with so many of these ingredients.

    Comments about Tinted Moisturizer:

I have used this tinted moisturizer for a long while until recently. I absolutely love everything about it except for the toxic chemicals that are used to create it. Over the past two years I've had an "awakening" with regards to what I intake into my body and what I put on it. Vanity is definitely a sin. To pay to look perfect disregarding what we actually put on ourselves. Although I love this I will no longer purchase it. I would rather spend slightly more (if not the same price) on Organic natural makeup. Do yourself a favor and research each item in the ingredients. May change how you see things.

        Comments about Tinted Moisturizer:

This tinted moisturizer is my HG. It doesn't look like I've got anything on when I'm wearing it, which is everyday by the way, but it blurs out imperfections and mild discoloration. I like spot-concealing anyway so the light to (buildable) medium coverage is perfect. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but PLEASE DON'T EVER DISCONTINUE THIS! < 3

Some of our by-products include beeswax, lanolin, carmine, animal hairs and cultured pearls. We do not conduct animal testing on our products or ingredients, nor ask others to test on our behalf. Sorry, I can't answer about C and W...I am very fair as well. I visited a Sephora store one day and had a person there recommend this tinted moisturizer which I use as a foundation. I recent "upped" the color to fair with rose, I think it's something like that. I like it alot.

Porcelain. I bought this with/for my daughter with very fair skin with pink undertones. She chose the regular skin, rather than the non-oily type. I have used this product for years, as recommended by my make-up artist daughter at Celestine, though I have continued to opt for the blush shade.

I am horrible at this, hence the reason why I have to go into the store. I use LM tinted Moisturizer in Natural when I am tan. I don't wear makeup in the summer but need something to even my tone. When I am my lightest in winter, my foundation is Lancome Teint ultra 24 in 210 Buff N. Hope it helps!

                • A:

I am extremely fair, too - with pink undertones. I use the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in the Porcelain shade as my only make-up although it is too yellow for me. However, if I put it on thinly, it works okay I have also mixed it with the Cameo shade - and that helps with toning down the yellow - but I always end up with too much squeezed out of the tube. I suppose I need to get a separate container and try mixing it in batch. I am the same - I can never find a shade light enough for me! I wish that Laura Mercier would go one more shade lighter with less yellow - I LOVE their tinted moisturizer but do need it a little lighter.
                  Good luck!

Tinted Moisturizer shade Natural would be the next shade to use because it is a darker shade but in the same colour family as Tinted Moisturizer shade Nude. If you get tanner we recommend you try Tinted Moisturizer shade Sand.

Bisque is a little darker. I found the nude didn’t provide enough coverage for me, but I guess that would depend on how fair your complexion is.
I will also tell you that I didn’t like the oil free product at all, I returned it for the regular and am very happy w/ it. Oddly, the oil free had a shine to it and felt heavy on my skin.
                  Hope this helps.

Cindy, Tinted Moisturizer shade Almond is a shade darker than Sand but is in the same color family as Sand.
