This product has taken years off my looks while gicing a healthy subtle glow. I use two colors... One for winter and for spring summer a darker one while still putting the slightly lighter one on forehead. I first put a clear zinc oxide ( best for your fsce) 30 sunblock on and wait a couple of minutes for the whitish to turn less plastic. Then i put my laura Mercier over it. I live at beach and can be outside eoth no sundamage and have the subtle even glow of LM instead of plasticy sunblock. Public has stopped me often to comment on my skin. no kidding. Don't be turned off with price, use very little

I have used this product religiously for several years and agree with other reviewers that the packaging has been changed over the last couple of years. I refuse to buy this product anymore because it is a waste of money to have the product leak all over and become unusable. I don't mind spending money on products that work but cannot justify having half the tube wasted due to this issue. PLEASE FIX YOUR PACKAGING! I would like to be able to purchase this product again.

      Comments about Tinted Moisturizer:

This tinted moisturizer is my HG. It doesn't look like I've got anything on when I'm wearing it, which is everyday by the way, but it blurs out imperfections and mild discoloration. I like spot-concealing anyway so the light to (buildable) medium coverage is perfect. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but PLEASE DON'T EVER DISCONTINUE THIS! < 3

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer:

I've been using this tinted moisturizer for several years. It never looks caked on or oily, but only like I have flawless skin. Which I don't. It covers minor imperfections and spots. I prefer a natural look in makeup, and just today, a new hair stylist asked if I wore makeup, so I guess my desire to look natural using this product works.

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer:

I first bought the oil free version because I have combination skin, leaning more towards the oily side. Wore it a few times & didn't like it all. I felt my face became sticky and oily after a few hours. Then I tried the regular version in nude & instantly fell in love. It lasts for a good 6-7 hours & gives a beautiful radiance to the skin. I have received compliments on how radiant my skin looks. I know this has very light coverage, however after I started to use this, I hardly reach for my foundation. I use this alone with a concealer, and I'm good to go. I highly recommend this product & will continue buying it.

Comments about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer:

I have pretty good skin except for some redness and minor breakouts and i found that i have to build this up a little bit more than my tarte foundation but what i found with this is that it applies really well with a flat top kabuki brush. I do reccomend this stuff for people with a little bit less breakout prone skin bc this will only smooth out your skin not cover everything up!! I love this stuff i always seem to go back to it!!

Hi! I'm debating between ordering the oil free tinted moisturizer in Bisque or nude. What is the difference between them? Ideally, i would love a color that hides how easily my skin turns red. If it helps, I use Beige Ivory silk creme photo edition foundation :)

Bisque is a little darker. I found the nude didn’t provide enough coverage for me, but I guess that would depend on how fair your complexion is.
I will also tell you that I didn’t like the oil free product at all, I returned it for the regular and am very happy w/ it. Oddly, the oil free had a shine to it and felt heavy on my skin.
                Hope this helps.

Lucy, We recommend you place a small amount of the tinted moisturizer on the back of your hand and apply to face with the narrow end of Laura's Egg-Shaped Sponge, or with clean fingertips. We don't recommend you us a brush to apply tinted moisturizer because a brush can leave streaks on your face. However, if you prefer to use a brush use the Face Brush. For the Translucent Loose Setting Powder apply the product with the Velour Puff or use the Powder Brush.

              Q:

              Hi
I need to buy online as I can't access stores easily. I have mature skin over 60 and have previously used Bobbi Brown tinted moisturiser in 'Light Tint'. I wish to change over to Laura Mercier, but am unsure of shade. I think maybe 2W2 NUDE or 2W3 NATURAL. My skin is paleish ( I was fair haired but am now white haired) and complexion has some warmth of colouring. Can you help suggest? Or are there trail sizes?
              Thanks

I would go with the nude. It is a safe bet or you can get both. If the natural is not quite right, you can mix them. I believe you can get a free trial size of the nude when you purchase a certain amount. Then you can get the natural with the free trial size in nude. I hope this helps.

Kim, Usually you would need to go up or down a foundation shade during the winter and summer months. For the winter months, your skin is slightly lighter so you would need to go down a shade. We recommend Tinted Moisturizer shade Ochre for the winter months.
