beauty roots: I remember as a little girl, my mother worked in the cosmetic industry. I would watch her do her makeup every day and I always thought she was so glamorous… even just to go to the grocery store. When I would visit her at work, I would see all her of friends and they all looked like they belonged on a fancy soap opera. Ever so often, one of her friends would put lipstick or blush on me and I remember going home and looking in the mirror and feeling so glamorous. I knew that when I grew up, I wanted to work in cosmetics. As for my mother, she hasn’t changed at all over the years, still glamorous and still working in cosmetics.
