beauty roots: One of my childhood memories is being about 6 years old and being fascinated with all the amazing beauty products I found in my mother's cosmetic bag. This was in the mid-70's, so she had all sorts of flashy colours, shimmers and frosts in the coolest shapes and packaging. I could spend hours playing with it! I always wanted to try some on and do my mother's makeup as well! Later on, I studied and worked in industrial design, which sharpened my eyes for beauty, fashion, shapes and colours. I went back to makeup school as I was fascinated by the art of transforming a face. I also always loved the human contact; how you can touch and transform people's lives.
