beauty roots: I remember being a child and watching my mother, an artist, illustrate beautiful women. She spent a lot of time detailing the eyes and eye brows. The colours were so vibrant and bold. I used to watch in amazement at her ability to perfect the canvas. As I grew older I quickly became the makeup pro amongst my friends. They would always compliment me on my eye for colour. Thinking back to this memory always gives me such joy as it’s this memory that has driven me to this wonderful world of beauty. Like my mother I now perfect a canvas, one face at a time.
