Comments about Laura Mercier Candleglow Luminizing Palette:
i wish the pallete was a bit darker in its colors. i can barley tell i have anything on. But for me; someone who doesn't wear heavy makeup maybe darker would be too much I'm not sure. but the squares broke and cracked after me owning it for only a month so i am going to return it unfortunately.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love the soft glow this product imparts on the skin. It really does give you that movie star look. It is not too sparkly or glittery, gives you just enough glow that is appropriate for day or evening and complements a natural look. I am a young looking 40 but I never had cared much for that glitter look. I am not a makeup artist but I think this palette would suite most skin tones. For me, this product replaces the Sheer Creme Glow in golden pink that was released a few years back. This is a better product as it is more versatile. Tip: the color glimmer is not dark enough to replace a bronzer. I also like the art on the container, but because it is especially pretty, but if you own a lot of LM products, all the brown containers look too much alike. At one point, I was storing my products label side-up or used a metallic sharpie to distinguish one product from another. I notice that in-store the counter girls use nail polish, just a tip. I don't have to do that much anymore because I have pretty much identified my favorites and don't experiment as much... but this was a good experimental purchase, a keeper for sure.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
