Works Well With

Lightstruck is the interplay of light fused with the optical effects of a colour eclipse - creating an incandescent reflection and refraction on skin. Customize and amp up your glow by layering the blendable shades together or wear them separately for a radiant prismatic glow. Diffused, multi-dimensional shades are fingertip flawless and complement all skins.

LIGHTSTRUCK SIGNATURE LOOK • To begin, pickup AURORA with fingertips and apply a light application all over the face to immediately enhance complexion and provide a fresh warm appearance or a subtle base glow. • Next, select favorite topper(s) to add dimension and shape on the high points of the face. • If applying powder products next, set with Invisible Loose Setting Powder to gently fix makeup for all day wear. • For more intensity on the cheeks, add additional AURORA onto the cheeks. • TIP: On back of hand, mix AURORA or favorite topper to a crème cheek colour with fingertips and apply to cheeks.

SPOTLIGHT • Create a SPOTLIGHT to skin by attracting light to specific areas of the face • First, apply RAY or PRISM to the center of the forehead, straight down the center of nose, a dot on the tip of nose, ridge of the Cupid's bow and center of chin. Blend with fingertips. • Apply a light set of Invisible Loose Setting Powder to gently fix makeup for all day wear. • SPOTLIGHT the eyes by pressing a small dot of RAY or PRISM to the center of each eye and blend. • After applying Lightstruck to eyes, set with SECRET BRIGHTENING POWDER and SECRET CAMOUFLAGE POWDER BRUSH.

SCULPT & SHAPE • Create high cheekbones by pressing RAY, PRISM or REFLECT to the ridge of cheekbones and blend with fingertips. • Apply REFLECT on temporal bone, hollows of the cheeks and sides of nose to sculpt and shape. •

CONTOUR eyes by applying AURORA in crease and finish with REFLECT, RAY or PRISM on lid. WET LOOK • Achieve a metallic wet look by pressing BEAM and RAY with fingertips allover eyelids and cheekbones. "

Comments about Laura Mercier Lightstruck Prismatic Glow Palette:

I wear this palette every day! Subtle options for work and some with more glitter for going out. I will definitely be getting another one!

  • Q:

How is the product best applied? I see some answers with finger but I am wondering if any brushes or blenders would work as well without ruining the palette.

I have used my beauty blender , I found it was easiest to play with this product on my face with no make up on to begin with . Since then I have discovered to use these as a very last product ... right before my setting mist . They look beautiful where ever you put them and me personally ... have best applied these using my pinky with a gentle patting motion. They remind me of a lipgloss because if you attempt to apply them on top of other product , it will remove the other product, and if you were to use e.g. ... the bronze color as a contour , then go to apply your bronzer, well your bronzer would stick to this and your look would be tacky. Use them last and begin light . You can always build from their.

Yes, I always use brushes and blenders which allows better application and
      does not harm palette.

I use my fingertips.  Your body heat helps it blend nicely.  Lana

  • Q:

i just received this product but was hoping it would more resemble the bonne mine palette with the bronzer and cheek veils. how do i duplicate those colors......they were perfection on my face. do i have to buy individual cheek and bronzer compacts?????? it was the best cosmetic i've ever had. i would buy three at a time. never thought you would discontinue it.

      A:

Adrienne, Lightstruck Prismatic Glow Palette is five lightweight, sheer, crème highlighters that interplay with light to reflect and refract a prismatic glow. The Bonne Mine Healthy Glow Palette was an ultra-sheer, blendable palette that gave skin an immediate healthy glow. To duplicate the colors we recommend using J'adore le Soleil Matte Veil Powder and Sunrise Highlighter Crayon and Face Illuminators Seduction or Indiscretion.

Joyce, In order to match you with the correct shades and products we would need to know more about your skin tone, your skin's undertone and the look you are wanting to achieve. The Lightstruck Prismatic Glow Palette has blendable shades that allow you to customize your look. You can find tips on how to blend the colours and how to get your signature look on the Laura Mercier website (www.lauramercier.com). Go to the product page for the Lightstruck Prismatic Glow Palette. Click on Usage to find how to customize your look. You can also visit a Laura Mercier counter near you for assistance.
