Jodi Riley, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been in the cosmetics industry for over seven years.
Jodi began her career in New York City where she worked for a leading cosmetics company. It was there she realized her passion for the fashion and beauty industries.
After completing her Bachelors of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Georgia, she jumped right into her new career and pursued her dream of being a makeup artist.
Jodi is actively involved with many local press and media outlets in Charlotte. Her work can be seen in fashion shows, photography and magazine layouts. Recently her work was included in a "Back to School" issue of The Charlotte Observer and a fashion spread for Charlotte Place magazine. Jodi has also become a must have for weddings in the Charlotte area.
She also created runway looks for designer Pamella Roland during New York Fashion Week 2008.
Is there one product that you can not leave the house without? Why?
I can't leave the house without my Laura Mercier Secret Finish. It diffuses the appearance of fine lines, sets your makeup, and creates a beautiful glow on the skin. It is a constant battle to keep my skin hydrated when I am traveling all the time. Secret finish allows me to look more dewy, refreshed and hydrated. The best part?
