Works Well With

A natural-haired brush sized to perfectly shape the cheek bone. The medium sculpted brush head provides softness in application and feel while also offering durability. Ideal for use with Laura Mercier Cheek Colour, Shimmer Bloc or Illuminating Powder.
Gently pick up product with the flat sides of the brush and remove excess. Begin at the top of the cheekbone, using a patting motion or brush downward toward the apple of the cheek in a rounded horseshoe shape.

Basic Brush care: Always cleanse in the direction of the hair - never "swirl" or harshly rub brushes on any surface. Cleanse as needed in mild shampoo and warm water and gently squeeze water through the hair - go from base to tip - and rinse thoroughly. Shape and allow to air dry on a flat surface - do not stand brushes on end to dry or use cleansers with alcohol.

Comments about Laura Mercier Cheek Colour Brush:

Laura Mercier makes wonderful high quality brushes. I've had the same Cheek Colour Brush for about five years and it's still perfect. It does a great job of getting the blush in just the right place.

Probably the last blush brush I'll have to buy

Comments about Laura Mercier Cheek Colour Brush:

I prefer a flat brush for powder blush application. I can put the color right on my "apple" of the cheekbone. I use the Angled Brush for contour under the cheekbone, with a matte bronzer, and my face looks fabulous. If I have the time, I do the cream blush first, and layer powder blush on top for extra-long wear and more depth. This brush doesn't lose any hairs, even when I'm applying over a creamy surface. I love the feel of it in my hand and the bristles are SOOOO soft.

Comments about Laura Mercier Cheek Colour Brush:

This cheek colour brush does exactly what it is designed to do: apply blush. When I use it, I feel like I am an artist painting on canvas (and I did not excel in art classes).

Comments about Laura Mercier Cheek Colour Brush:

I have the travel version of this brush, and it's great because it never leaves the color on your cheeks too heavy. I use it with all the loose and compact cheek powders and it works equally well with all.

best shape for defining cheekbone

Comments about Laura Mercier Cheek Colour Brush:

I know many prefer a "dome" or round shape for blush brushes, but i love the control a flat, tapered brush provides. Laura actually lightly mushes the bristles forward gently with one finger when she does the cheekbones; she can feel the bone structure that way.
Also a very high quality brush!

Comments about Laura Mercier Cheek Colour Brush:

This was one of the first makeup brushes I ever purchased, and I use it every day. It's soft and makes applying blush very easy. It shows no signs of wear after years of use.

This is the only blush brush I've ever used that doesn't shed! So easy to blend my cheek colour for a perfect application every time. Highly recommended to all.

  • Q:

Is this brush still made with sable? I purchased one in 2009 or so and love it. Unfortunately, I cracked the handle and want to purchase a replacement. Before I place an order, I want to be sure the current brush is the same as the one I bought years ago.
