The Best Products for a Pink Monochromatic Bridal Look

Calling all summer brides! A beautiful way to look radiant, polished, and timeless on your big day is by choosing a monochromatic makeup palette. There’s a big “less is more” trend happening in the makeup space and by choosing just one color to focus on, it’s easy to create a stunning, yet cohesive makeup look.

And what better color to focus on first than pink! So, we’re breaking down all the products needed to achieve this effortlessly chic summer bride look.

Pretty in Pink

If you haven’t heard, we have a RoseGlow Collection which features some of Laura’s favorite products—all in a rosy, illuminating hue. And for this style of makeup, we think it’s the perfect collection to dip into!

Starting with eyes, we’ve used our RoseGlow Caviar Stick in Strike a Rose and Forbidden Rose with our eyeshadow brush. By using two different shades of pink, we can create more dimension and depth (but more on that later). Next, you can use a mascara to emphasize your lashes and create a doll-like effect. And finally, you need a lip and cheek color that ties the whole look together. We love our Petal Soft Lipstick Crayon in Maia for this look, however we suggest choosing a color that looks good on your skin tone.

Choosing the Right Shade

For example, if you have very fair skin, you could use our Petal Soft crayon in Maia or Adèle. For medium skin tones, we recommend Léa or Alma. And for deep skin tones, we think Léonie or Sienna would look fabulous. Feel free to play around with a few different shades—because at the end of the day, you are your own makeup artist. Lean into what you think looks best and we promise you’ll look and feel more confident that way.

How to Get the Monochromatic Bridal Look

Now that you have your supplies, let’s walk you through how to get this monochromatic pink look!

Step One

Assuming your base is already complete, we’re starting with your eyes. Using your RoseGlow Caviar Stick in Strike a Rose, run the color across your lash line.

Step Two

With your eyeshadow brush, blend Strike a Rose across your entire lid.

Step Three

Next, use your RoseGlow Caviar Stick in Forbidden Rose and add some pigment on the outer corner of your eye and into the crease. With your brush, blend it out until you have a slightly smokey, ombre effect happening on your lid. Then using the same shade, apply a tiny amount along your lower lashes and inner eye and smudge out to soften the look.

Step Four

Time for mascara! If you want a softer look, try a brown mascara for more subtle definition. If you want a more dramatic effect, go black.

Step Five

Now, apply your Petal Soft Lipstick Crayon to your lips in the shade you like best! Because this hydrating crayon applies sheer, you can’t overdo it. Feel free to apply as many layers as you want.

Step Six (Optional)

Because this look is already so youthful and radiant, you can stop here. But if you want to take it up a notch, take your Petal Soft lip crayon and apply the color just to the apple of your cheeks. Top the whole look with a dusting of RoseGlow Highlighting Powder and voilà!
