Apply Wet for Medium to Full coverage and Natural finish.
Ideal for all skin types.
Oil-free. Fragrance-free. Non-comedogenic. Dermatologist-tested.
Compact includes sponge applicator.
For Sheer to Medium coverage, use the dry sponge. Apply just as you would a pressed powder. Avoid the eye area.
For Medium to Full coverage, dampen the sponge, then smooth powder onto face.
For best results, use after your preferred Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.
For the most flawless, natural look, Laura says it's key to avoid over-applying foundation to the middle of the face—where too much formula can accentuate lines and other imperfections. With liquid, crème, or powder, she recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inward towards the nose. Focus on one area at a time and be sure to blend well. Avoid excess application around eyes or the contours of the face. Repeat application until desired coverage is achieved.
Remember, use Foundation to even out your skin tone. Use Concealer to camouflage imperfections.

This was my first LM product and ,as a fan of powder foundation I decided to give it a try. It was good enough overall,is full coverage I even don't need a concealer when using it,it never broke me out, cause is non-comedogenic, I have very sensitive skin with allergies, redness and flakiness and it never caused me any reaction. It just has a couple issues,it tends to crack and show every wrinkle even the smallest ones,it also shows every flake.I will keep looking for a better one.

I have been using Laura Mercier products for many, many years but now I seriously consider to switch to another brand. All the time, they change the formulas and introduce products with lesser quality. I LOVED the tinted moisturizer creme compact and have used so many of them. Now it is gone and none of the other LM foundations (and I have them all) will do the job. Who makes these decisions? Just bring it back!

I am very glad I found this product. At almost 50, I am showing signs of aging. My skin has fine lines and it is very dry. I also have lots of skin sensitivities. This compact is great. First, I apply a facial sunscreen, then the Laura Mercier foundation primer - hydrating, wait five minutes, then apply this compact foundation. My skin looks great with it. I have received so many compliments since I started wearing it.

It's not natural

I used this product for almost one year and every day I look at myself, I feel something strange but hard to tell what's different. I feel upset everyday. Now I switch back to the original foundation powder. I can tell the original one is more natural and full coverage. It makes me look more great than this one. I really love laura mercier's old products. If new products are not working, just bring back original products to make your customers happy.I also miss the old version of silk cream foundation...

I bought it in ALL of my colors!
from Dover, DE
I didn't purchase this powder via the website (I needed to see the colors in person), but I do LOVE this edition of foundation powders (I was a fan of the old one too). I have one for when I'm at my lightest, for in-between, and for when I'm at my deepest (they don't go bad, so it's not a waste of money). The colors are tough to maneuver, but when you get it, it's perfect! I use it with different brushes depending if I'm just throwing it on and taking my son to school or if I'm heading to work or if I get a nice, adult-night out. I am a very odd olive-tone because of having a white Dad and mixed race Mom and bounce from the #6 to the #9 to the #11. I'm normal to oily with random dryness. Hope this helps!

I've never had much success with powder foundations because the finish of most always leave me looking cakey and dull. I spend a lot of time outdoors and have been using a dermatology brand tinted moisturizer for extra sun protection. Smooth Finish Foundation Powder helps correct the color of the tinted moisturizer and gives a more polished finish. My new daily make-up routine has become so simple now and I am protected by the sun!

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!
This is my 1st time ever to give out review on the Internet for any make up that I've bought. The reason I'm giving the review is because I think this product is absolutely the best foundation powder so far, I apply it with sponge and sometimes with Kabuki brush (if I'm using liquid foundation and this powder is just to seal my foundation).I have a good skin but I still have some undereyes circles but whenever I used this powder, I won't even used a concealer. I just used my BB cream or tinted moisturizer and this powder. I LOVE IT. Please LM, never ever discontinue this powder!
I've been using now for about 2 years.

I bad love this product. It looks so natural and smooth. I never have to reapply. At 58 years old, it's just what I need.

Not for mature skin.
As a powder it covered easily but it looked very powdery. As a foundation there was poor coverage and it showed up every pore and wrinkle.
